Lee Seung-hyun (Hangul: 이승현; born December 12, 1990), known by his stage name Seungri or V.I is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor, model, record producer and composer, best known as a being the youngest member of popular South Korean boy group Bigbang. Before joining the group, he was a member and leader of a dance team in Gwangju. He first appeared on television on the reality television series Mnet Battle Shinhwa.

Seungri is known for his dance skills. In his hometown, Gwangju, he was part of the dance group II Hwa. He has competed against his fellow BIGBANG member Taeyang in several dance competitions. Seungri also choreographed some of Big Bang’s dance.
At the Golden Disk Awards in December 2007, Seung Ri injured his ankle during the reharsals but still performed at the awards ceremony, adding his injury, resulting in him missing in MBC Music Core's 100th episode special with Daesung and TOP for the Seo Ta Ji tribute performance. On the 29th, in the middle of the 'Big Bang is Great' 2nd concert, Seung Ri was rushed into the emergency room when he fainted during the concert. The next day, he still continued to participate in Big Bang's concert which brought much surprise to fans who thought he would rest due to his condition.
Seung Ri is also the first member of Big Bang to star in a musical. In February 2008, he was double casted for the main lead of the popular musical 'Sonagi', transforming from a singer to his first work as an actor. The musical 'Sonagi' is recognized for it's production and popularity, based on a popular short story - describing as being a painful and pure love story which is even teached in textbooks in Korea. Seung Ri was casted for the male lead after 3 auditions at the Seoul Metropolitan Musical Theatre. He performed in 18-19 out of the 39 planned performancs of the musical in the Seoul Sejong Cultural Centre's M Theatre.
His next musical, Shouting, was performed in 2009 alongside another BIGBANG member Daesung, who was unable to perform at the last minute due to a car accident. Seungri made his film debut in with the movie Why Did You Come to My House?, followed by "Nineteen" alongside another Big Bang member TOP. The movie was released on November 12, 2009. Although his first solo song Next Day was recorded as part of Bigbang’s album track, his second solo song Strong Baby was released as a promotional single for the group’s second Korean album. In order to shed the “youngest member” look from BIGBANG Seungri promoted the single with a more mature look alongside with a stylish dance.
In 2009 and 2010, BIGBANG spend most of their time in Japan for their promotion. In early 2011, Seungri made a comeback with his new Album VVIP with R&B Pop feel. For the album's promotion cycle, He's heading for double title tracks, “VVIP” and "What Can I Do". Seungri participated actively in the production of the album, composing and writing six out of the seven songs.
When he's 20 years old he already become the CEO of dancing and singing academies "Seungri Academy". He start opening the first one in 2010 (Gwangju) and now he already have 5 academies which located in Gwangju, Daejon, Mokpo, Seoul and Incheon.
In July 2012, he start living in Japan because of his solo activities. Until now he already attend 70% of all Japanese variety shows and talk shows with his great Japanese language skills. He also have his own program "VICTORY Declaration" and becomes MC in program "sakigake". He also active with his own diary updates "Seungchan Diary" and models for lots of Japanese magazine.
